Grants authority to oversee AI systems by state agencies and private companies. - Prohibits a business from using AI systems to: - Discriminate against protected classes; - Create or disseminate false or misleading information; - Unlawfully surveil individuals without consent; - Collect, process, or disseminate personal information; without consent; - Use or reproduce intellectual property; - Fail to implement reasonable safeguards, resulting in harm or material loss; - Conduct AI research that is harmful without consent; - Intentionally disrupt, damage, or subvert an AI system to undermine its integrity or performance; or - Use personal identity data from AI systems to commit fraud or theft.
