As introduced: - Requires an entity that collects or stores name, portrait, picture, video, likeness, voice, or other personal data, biometric data, and location data for advertising, trade, data-mining, or generating commercial or economic value to exercise reasonable care over the data - Limits collection and sharing of personal data to what is reasonably necessary. Creates a right to delete, right to access personal information collected, right to access disclosure of personal information to third parties. - Requires consent before a business collects or shares the consumer's personal information. Prohibits discrimination against a consumer for exercising rights. Requires reasonable security. - Creates a private right of action.
