As amended 10/7/2025: - Prohibits using a software application that runs automated tasks over the internet to access a computer network or circumvent queues and security measures to purchase tickets with the intent to resell. - Provides exemptions when an application is used for security testing or research purchases. - Allows a ticket seller to bring a civil action against violators. - NOTE: 10/7 amendment makes it unlawful to resell any product or service if the person knew or willfully disregarded that the product or service was acquired in violation by circumventing security measures or queues.
