As amended on 12/19/2025: - Requires any news media content substantially composed, authored, or otherwise created through the use of generative artificial intelligence to conspicuously disclose that fact. - Requires human review of news media content generated by AI. - Prohibits news media employers from training generative AI on work product of workers without notice, consent, and an opportunity to bargain over appropriate remuneration. - Requires news employees to create safeguards to protect confidential sources and materials from access by any artificial intelligence technology.
