As introduced: - Prohibits licensed psychologists, school psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, and mental health counselors from using artificial intelligence in their direct clinical practice. - Allows for the use of artificial intelligence for administrative and supplementary support services, such as scheduling, billing, and data analysis for operational purposes. - Permits the use of artificial intelligence to record or transcribe a counseling or therapy session if the patient provides written, informed consent at least 24 hours in advance.
