As introduced: - Creates a legal safe harbor for developers and deployers of verified artificial intelligence systems against civil liability claims for personal injury or property damage. - Establishes a voluntary licensing program, administered by the attorney general, for independent verification organizations to verify that AI systems mitigate risks. - Establishes the artificial intelligence safety advisory council within the office of the attorney general to assist in administering the program.
