As amended 3/9/2026: - Prohibits the use of automated software (bots) to bypass security measures, such as electronic queues and sales volume limitations, to purchase tickets. - Requires all ticket sellers and resellers to disclose the total price and an itemized breakdown of all fees and taxes before purchase, as well as the seat location. - Prohibits speculative ticket sales by ticket resellers. - Prohibits ticket resales before an initial public sale, and grants artists, venues, and private ticketing providers the ability to restrict ticket transferability if terms and conditions are clearly disclosed and acknowledged by the ticket purchaser. - Requires a ticket seller or reseller to issue a full refund of the ticket within 10 days if the event is canceled, the ticket is counterfeit, the ticket location does not match the description at the time of purchase, or the ticket is not made available before the event. - Prohibits a ticket reseller from using the name, mark, logo, or likeness of an artist, venue, or event organizer without authorization. - NOTE: 3/5 amendment removes section that capped the resale price of a ticket at 110% of its original total price. - NOTE: 3/9 amendment strikes the bill title.
