As introduced: - Prohibits the use of an autonomous vehicle to deliver commercial goods directly to a residence or business unless a licensed human operator is physically present in the vehicle. - Requires the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to submit a report to the Legislature evaluating the use of autonomous vehicle technology for commercial deliveries and its impact on public safety and employment.
