As introduced: - Prohibits "surveillance pricing," defined as charging different prices to consumers for goods or services based on their collected personal information, with certain exceptions. - Requires a clear disclosure to the consumer when a price is set using a surveillance method, stating "This Price Was Set By A Surveillance Method Using Your Personal Consumer Information." - Excludes a discounted price offered through a loyalty, membership, or rewards program in which consumers affirmatively enroll. - Creates a private right of action for consumers and authorizes the Attorney General to bring civil actions for violations. - Renders void any provision that requires a consumer to waive their rights under the act.
