As introduced: - Requires businesses to provide clear and conspicuous notice, such as a posted sign, before using a biometric surveillance system, including facial recognition, on consumers at their physical premises. - Prohibits businesses from selling, leasing, sharing, or otherwise profiting from information obtained through a biometric surveillance system. - Requires a business that uses biometric information to deny a consumer access to or remove a consumer from its premises to provide a detailed explanation for the action.
