As introduced: - Requires large frontier AI developers and large chatbot providers to implement and publish a public safety and child protection plan, report safety incidents to the Attorney General, and publish summaries of risk assessments. - Authorizes the Attorney General to enforce the act and establishes civil penalties of up to $1 million per violation for developers and up to $50,000 for chatbot providers. - Establishes whistleblower protections and a private right of action for employees who report violations of the act or specific dangers to safety.
