As introduced: - Makes completion of an artificial intelligence literacy course a graduation requirement for public high school students, beginning with the 2027-2028 school year. - Requires the Department of Education to develop a statewide artificial intelligence literacy curriculum and each public school to develop a policy on the ethical use of AI. - Establishes an advisory council for artificial intelligence education to develop a teacher certification program and curate resources for schools. - Creates a three-year, $5 million grant pilot program to support teacher professional development and curriculum creation.
