As introduced: - Establishes that artificial intelligence is not a person under state law, cannot be granted legal personhood, and cannot have liability imposed upon it. - Prohibits artificial intelligence from owning or controlling property, and specifies that assets it generates are attributed to its developer, manufacturer, or owner. - Prohibits artificial intelligence from serving as a corporate officer, director, or partner, or from being a spouse or domestic partner. - Amends the state's general statutory definition of "person" to explicitly exclude artificial intelligence.
