As introduced: - Establishes a new evidentiary rule for civil, criminal, and family court proceedings when evidence is challenged as being fabricated by generative artificial intelligence. - Requires the party offering the evidence to prove its authenticity by a preponderance of the evidence, but only after the challenging party first makes a showing sufficient to support a reasonable inference of inauthenticity.
