As introduced: - Establishes a civil cause of action for the unauthorized commercial use of an individual's name, likeness, or voice, defining these attributes to include simulated or AI-generated depictions. - Makes the right to sue for misappropriation a transferable property right that survives for at least 10 years after an individual's death and may be extended up to 70 years with continued commercial use. - Authorizes a court to award a prevailing plaintiff actual damages, the defendant's profits, attorney's fees, and injunctive relief, with the possibility of triple damages for knowing violations. - Exempts certain uses, including for news, public affairs, sports, comment, criticism, satire, or parody.
