As introduced: - Prohibits commercial autonomous vehicle operations until a required study is completed and a permit process is established by the commissioner of transportation. - Establishes the Commercial Autonomous Vehicle Operations Labor and Small Business Impact Advisory Board to study the impacts of such operations and provide recommendations to the commissioner. - Requires any permitted commercial autonomous vehicle transporting passengers or goods to have a human safety operator physically present in the vehicle with the ability to take immediate manual control.
