As amended on 3/13/2026: - Prohibits providing, advertising, or offering mental health services through artificial intelligence unless the services are provided by a licensed mental health professional. - Exempts religious counseling and peer support. - Allows a licensed mental health professional, operating within the scope of practice, to use AI tools for a client. - Creates a commission to study the issue. - NOTE: 3/13 amended version applies only to mental health professionals.
