As amended on 6/18/2026: - Requires a health care facility to make available, upon request from a licensed health care professional, an inventory of all clinical decision support systems currently in use or deployed for patient care. - Requires health facilities, clinics, physician offices, and group practices that use clinical decision support systems for patient care to inform employees upon hiring and annually that they may request an inventory of all clinical decision support systems currently used or deployed for patient care. - Prohibits a developer, modifier, selector, or deployer of a clinical decision support system from avoiding liability by arguing that a health care professional's failure to override the system's recommendation was an independent intervening cause of the patient's injury. - The 4/9/2026 amendment specifies the disclosure. - The 6/11/2026 amendment exempts tasks that do not involve the application of professional judgment by a licensed health care professional, such as automated message systems. - The 6/18/2026 amendment rewrites the bill.
