As introduced: - Creates the Artificial Intelligence Systems Use in Health Insurance Act which clarifies Department of Insurance oversight of an insurer's use of AI systems to make or support adverse determinations that affect consumers. - Prohibits issuing an adverse consumer outcome based solely on the use of an AI system or predictive model. Requires human review. - Allows Department rulemaking to require disclosure of an insurer's use of AI systems.
