As amended 12/5/2025: - Prohibits a deployer from using an automated employment decision tool that violated discrimination laws. - Requires developers and deployers to perform an annual impact assessment for any automated employment decision tool and establishes what the assessment must include. - Requires a developer to provide deployers with a statement regarding the intended use of the automated decision tool and documentation. - Requires a deployer or developer to implement a governance program that contains reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to map, measure, manage, and govern the reasonably foreseeable risk of unlawful discrimination. - Requires a deployer to disclose when an automated employment decision tool is in use. - Grants enforcement authority to the attorney general.
