As introduced: - Prohibits operation of a search engine that automatically returns results using artificial intelligence without user consent. - Requires a study on the environmental impacts of artificial intelligence. - Study must include analysis of the energy consumption and pollution associated with the full lifecycle of artificial intelligence models, including the design, development, deployment, and use of those artificial intelligence models, as well as impact on water supplies.
