As introduced: - Makes it a crime to knowingly publish, distribute, or make publicly available algorithmically generated or altered content depicting an individual without their consent. - Establishes enhanced criminal penalties for creating or distributing such content that is of a sexual or pornographic nature, with further increases for content that causes serious harm. - Exempts content created for artistic, parodic, satirical, journalistic, or research purposes, provided the content includes a clear disclosure that it is artificially generated. - Prohibits third parties from retaining or selling any biometric or identification data collected for compliance or verification purposes.
