As introduced: - Requires online sellers to provide a clear and conspicuous disclosure when a price is personalized using a consumer's personal data. - Allows a consumer to opt out of surveillance pricing and, upon request, receive a non-personalized baseline price. - Prohibits the use of a consumer's race, religion, sexual orientation, immigration status, medical information, or criminal history to generate algorithmic prices. - Makes a violation of these provisions an unlawful practice under the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.
