As introduced: - Prohibits a landlord from using, or causing another to use, an algorithmic device to set the rent for a dwelling unit. - Excludes products designed and used internally by a landlord or their affiliates from the definition of an "algorithmic device." - Makes a violation an unfair trade practice and an illegal restraint of commerce, enforceable by the Attorney General under the Consumer Protection Act.
