As introduced: - Establishes a transferable property right in an individual's name, voice, and likeness that does not expire upon death. - Prohibits, without consent, the knowing publication or material contribution to a computer-generated image or voice replica that falsely depicts an individual. - Authorizes an injured party to sue for damages, including the greater of actual damages or statutory damages of $50,000 for publication or $5,000 for material contribution, plus profits and potential punitive damages. - Exempts uses for news reporting, sports broadcasts, public affairs, comment, criticism, scholarship, satire, or parody.
