As introduced: - Requires local governments, school districts, and public colleges and universities to annually disclose on their websites the automated employment decision-making tools they utilize. - Prohibits these public employers from using artificial intelligence systems to discharge or displace an employee, or to reduce their hours, wages, or benefits. - Prevents the use of artificial intelligence systems by public employers from impairing collective bargaining agreements, altering civil service status, or transferring duties from union employees to an AI system.
