As introduced: - Expands the right of publicity to protect an individual's identity, including their name and likeness, in any medium or manner, and defines "voice" to include simulations. - Broadens what constitutes an infringement to include the unconsented publication, performance, or distribution of a person's voice or likeness. - Establishes a $3,000 civil penalty for knowing infringement, which may be imposed in addition to the recovery of actual damages and profits.
