As introduced: - Adds a one-year computer science and artificial intelligence course as a high school graduation requirement for students entering 9th grade beginning with the 2028-2029 school year, which can be taken as early as 7th grade and may satisfy other course requirements. - Broadens the courses that may satisfy one year of the mathematics graduation requirement to include any computer science course, rather than only an Advanced Placement course. - Creates an introductory content area endorsement for teaching computer science in grades 5 through 12. - Requires school districts to annually report data to the State Board of Education on computer science courses and student enrollment in grades K-8, and requires the board to make the data public.
