As introduced: - Requires the Department of Criminal Justice Services to establish model policies and compulsory training standards for law enforcement regarding the use of generative AI, audiovisual surveillance technologies, including license plate reader systems. - Requires forensic laboratories operated by local and campus police departments to be accredited and to only purchase forensic equipment and testing devices approved by the Department of Forensic Science.
