As introduced: - Proposes an amendment to the state constitution to establish that artificial persons, including corporations, only possess powers expressly granted by the constitution. - Prohibits artificial persons from spending money or anything of value to support or oppose any candidate, political party, political committee, ballot question, or initiative petition. - Establishes that an artificial person that engages in prohibited political activity forfeits all state-conferred charter privileges, including limited liability. - Creates an exception for registered political committees to engage in political and initiative activity, provided that is their sole purpose.
