As introduced: - Makes it a Class A misdemeanor to create or distribute a synthetic digital representation with intent to coerce, harass, or intimidate an individual, and a Class I felony to do so with intent to defraud, coerce, or intimidate for monetary gain. - Exempts certain content and entities from the new penalties, including newsworthy material, content that is clearly disclosed as AI-generated, and interactive computer service providers for third-party content. - Adds the newly created felony offense to the state's definition of "racketeering activity." - Creates a civil cause of action for invasion of privacy for individuals depicted in a prohibited synthetic digital representation.
