As introduced: - Creates a Class A misdemeanor for creating or distributing a synthetic digital representation of an individual without consent with the intent to coerce, harass, or intimidate. - Establishes a Class I felony for creating or distributing a synthetic digital representation of an individual for monetary gain with the intent to defraud, coerce, or intimidate. - Includes the felony offense in the state's definition of racketeering activity. - Authorizes a civil cause of action for individuals depicted in an unlawful synthetic digital representation, regardless of the outcome of any criminal action.
