As introduced: - Prohibits a controller or processor from setting a price for a consumer based on the consumer's online device's hardware, software, or precise geolocation data when used to make inferences about the consumer. - Permits the use of device hardware data for pricing repairs, maintenance, or calculating trade-in value. - Permits the use of precise geolocation data to set prices based on real-time local demand for a service or legitimate cost differences such as local taxes. Clarifies discounts and coupons are still permitted if such data is not used.
