As introduced: - Prohibits an employer from using an automated system to screen applicants unless a meaningful human review of the system's output is conducted before making a final or adverse employment decision. - Requires an employer using an automated system to notify applicants of its use, describe the type of data analyzed, and describe the role of the human reviewer. - Grants an applicant who receives an adverse employment decision the right to request a human-conducted review of that decision. - Authorizes the commissioner of labor to enforce these provisions, issue fines and cease-and-desist orders, and promulgate rules.
