As introduced: - Requires high school students, beginning with the 2030-2031 graduating class, to complete one semester of computer science for graduation. - Amends K-12 computer science standards to require instruction on artificial intelligence, including its function, societal impact, and ethical considerations. - Requires teacher preparation programs to include instruction in computer science, artificial intelligence, and computational thinking. - Requires public universities to accept qualifying high school computer science courses as equivalent to science or mathematics courses for admission purposes.
