As introduced: - Prohibits a person or entity from operating, licensing, or using software or an algorithmic device that performs a "coordinating function" to facilitate an agreement among residential rental property owners not to compete. - Prohibits a residential rental property owner or manager from setting or adjusting rental prices or other lease terms based on recommendations from a software or algorithmic device that performs a "coordinating function." - Makes a violation of these provisions an unlawful restraint of trade, subject to existing civil and criminal penalties.
