As introduced: - Requires operating system providers to establish a method for determining a user's age bracket and relaying that information via a digital signal to application operators for age verification. - Prohibits providing an algorithmic "addictive feed" to a minor or sending related notifications between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. without verifiable parental consent. - Implements default privacy settings for minors that restrict the sharing of geographic location and requires parental approval for all financial transactions. - Requires parental approval for users under the age of 13 to establish new connections with other users. - Designates a violation of the act as an unlawful practice under the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.
