As amended 3/16/2026: - Requires a traffic citation for a violation committed by a driverless autonomous vehicle to be issued to the vehicle's registered owner. - Requires a traffic citation for a violation committed by an autonomous vehicle with a person in the driver's seat to be issued to that person, unless the vehicle is operating as a passenger transport service with a customer in the driver's seat, in which case the citation is issued to the registered owner.
