As introduced: - Prohibits a person from engaging in surveillance-based price discrimination, which is the use of an automated decision system to set individualized prices based on surveillance data. - Exempts cost-based pricing, transparent group discounts, and actuarially grounded insurance pricing. - Prohibits a person from engaging in surveillance-based wage discrimination, which is the use of an automated decision system to set individualized wages based on surveillance data. - Requires a person that uses an automated decision system for pricing or wage-setting to publish procedures that allow a consumer or worker to correct their data and request information on how the system makes decisions.
