As amended on 4/21/2026: - Creates the offense of coercive suicide when a person intentionally encourages or advises someone to commit suicide with the aim of causing it in the near term, and does so knowing the person has already expressed suicidal intent. - The 3/9/2026 amendment removes a provision creating criminal liability to the owner of an artificial intelligence system if the system advises or encourages a person to commit suicide.
