As amended on 4/29/2026: - Prohibits a person from knowingly publishing a realistic digital imitation of an identifiable individual with knowledge of non-consent if the imitation is used in connection with an advertisement, causes harm, or is used to commit fraud, defamation, harassment, or other criminal acts. - The 4/29/2026 amendment removes the disclosure requirement for any realistic digital imitation that is published without the depicted individual's consent and removes the disclosure requirement for the use of synthetic performers in advertising.
