As amended on 6/11/2026: - Prohibits the use of a synthetic performer in an advertisement without a clear and conspicuous disclosure that the performer is synthetic. - Requires advertising platforms to remove and stop distributing ads featuring a synthetic performer once they receive a court order finding the ad unlawful, and to stop accepting payment to promote it. - Exempts advertisements for expressive works, such as movies and video games, from the disclosure requirement if the use of the synthetic performer in the ad is consistent with its use in the work. - The 6/11/2026 amendment modifies the disclosure, and amends definitions.
