As amended on 6/9/2026: - Amends revenge porn and sexual deepfake laws. Replaces the term "artificially generated sexual depiction" with "artificially generated intimate image." - Removes the requirement to prove intent to harass, annoy, or alarm from the base offense of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image. - Expands the law to apply to images of any individual, not just a current or former sexual or intimate partner. - Creates a higher penalty for the offense if committed with specific intents, such as to harass, cause harm, obtain profit, or for sexual gratification. - Expands the offense to explicitly include artificially generated or "deepfake" intimate images and adds related definitions. - Establishes a statute of limitations allowing prosecution within five years of the offense or three years from its discovery by the victim, whichever is later.
