As introduced: - Requires a ticket listing to clearly disclose the location of the seat, such as row and section number if applicable, as well as a website link to the primary ticket issuer. - Prohibits the sale or resale of speculative tickets or multiple copies of the same ticket. - Prohibits ticket resellers from selling or reselling a ticket through a fan club ticket resale or fan club program unless authorized by the fan club. - Prohibits the use of bots to purchase event tickets in excess of posted limits or to circumvent security measures on ticketing websites. - Prohibits a ticket reseller from using the name, logo, or other intellectual property of an entertainer, venue, or event organizer without authorization to imply an official affiliation. - Creates a civil penalty of up to $15,000 for tickets sold or resold in violation of these provisions, as well as an additional penalty of up to $10,000 for willful violations.
