As introduced: - Prohibits a digital platform from deploying an artificial intelligence simulation of a user after death or a five-year period of inactivity without the user's explicit, opt-in consent. - Defines a "digital platform" as an online service, social media platform, messaging service, or digital application with more than 1 million registered users that stores user-generated content. - Grants a deceased user's estate or authorized representative the right to revoke consent, terminate a simulation, and delete AI-generated content. - Requires a digital platform to clearly and conspicuously label AI-generated content, including, where technically feasible, information identifying the AI system used, the time and date of creation or modification, and a unique identifier. - Establishes a private right of action.
