As substituted on 2/25/2026: - Prohibits the distribution of a forged digital likeness with the intent to defraud, harass, threaten, or intimidate another. - Prohibits distribution of a sexual deepfake. - Requires social media platforms to verify the age of users and require parental consent for a minor to have an account. Requires parental access to a minor's account. Prohibits targeted advertising, personalized content, or addictive features towards minors. Prohibits allowing a minor to use the platform between 10:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. without parental consent. Creates a private right of action. - Adds the crimes of distribution and possession of computer-generated obscene child sexual abuse material. - Expands the criminal background disqualifications for school bus driver licensure and a lifetime revocation of a teaching certificate for AI-generated child sexual abuse material offenses. - The 2/2/2026 substitution clarifies the definition of AI-generated child sexual abuse material. - The 2/25/2026 amendment adds provisions on digital likeness, sexual deepfakes, and social media restrictions.
