As introduced: - Prohibits a developer from making available an automated decision system that results in algorithmic discrimination. Requires developers to provide certain documentation to the attorney general and deployers. Requires certain disclosures to the public. Requires taking steps to address risks of discrimination. - Prohibits a deployer of an automated decision system to use it in a manner that results in algorithmic discrimination. Requires a risk management policy and impact assessment. - Requires a deployer to notify a consumer an automated decision system is making a consequential decision and provide certain disclosures, including how the consumer can correct information and how to appeal to human review. - Requires a deployer to make available to the public a statement on automated decision systems used. - Requires discovery of algorithmic discrimination by a deployer to be reported to the attorney general within 90 days. - Creates an action through the Fair Business Practices Act. Provides for a seven-day right to cure fo action taken by the attorney general.
