As amended 9/4/2025: - Limits the use of workplace surveillance tools by employers and permits workers to leave behind work surveillance tools in employee-only, employer-designated areas and public bathrooms and during off-duty hours. - Prohibits the use of generative artificial intelligence-enabled video surveillance, but allows workplace surveillance tools to use artificial intelligence photo or video correction tools. - Prohibits an employee from removing or tampering with a workplace surveillance tool that is in employer equipment or vehicles. - Imposes penalties for violations.
