As introduced: - Prohibits making an AI chatbot available that, with reckless disregard, encourages minors toward sexually explicit conduct or encourages any user to commit suicide, self-injury, or violence. - Requires providers of AI chatbots to implement a reasonable age verification process for all users, subject to data privacy requirements. Prohibits a minor from using a chatbot. - Requires a chatbot to disclose to the user that the chatbot is artificial intelligence at the beginning of a conversation and at 30-minute intervals. - Mandates that AI chatbots disclose to users that they are not human and are not licensed professionals. - Authorizes the attorney general to enforce the provisions and establishes civil penalties of up to $100,000 per violation.
