As introduced: - Increases the criminal penalty for the nonconsensual distribution of an intimate image and expands the definition to include images created or modified by digital tools like artificial intelligence. - Creates a new Class A misdemeanor offense for creating or possessing a digitally created or altered sexual image of an individual without their consent. - Establishes a new Level 6 felony offense for distributing a digitally created or altered sexual image of an individual without their consent. - Exempts law enforcement, courts, news and entertainment media, newspapers, cloud service providers, and internet or search providers.
